Jamie Coburn Van Horn is an Occupational Therapist who specializes in integrative health and prevention. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Allied Health/Occupational Therapy.
She is the Founder and practicing therapist of Align Health, LLC. She has a deep understanding of the mind-body connection having provided care as an OT over 20+ years within corporate consulting, outpatient orthopedics, industrial rehabilitation, pediatrics, private practice and home health.
She is trained in lifestyle management, functional movement, augmented soft tissue mobilization, postural correction, dementia management, mindfulness, parent coaching, sensory integration, ADHD, Executive functioning, pediatrics, workplace ergonomics/functional capacity evaluation and home modifications. Jamie focuses on aligning and serving the whole person – mind and body, including the environment.
Dr. Kristen Fogle is a physical therapist specializing in the treatment of orthopedic and women’s health related conditions. She attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, where she received her Bachelors degree in Sports Medicine with a concentration in Physical Therapy in 2010. From there, she went to the University of Toledo, graduating with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2013. Upon receiving her Doctorate degree, Dr. Fogle came home to Columbus, Ohio, where she has been working as a physical therapist in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Currently, Dr. Fogle has been focused on working with clients in the outpatient setting dealing with women's health related conditions, orthopedic related injuries, and post-operative conditions. She completed her women's health certification with Herman & Wallace to be able to provide exceptional care for women dealing with different conditions of pelvic floor pain, pregnancy, and post-partum recovery.
Dr. Fogle is passionate about fitness, being active by running and in Crossfit. She brings this passion and the techniques utilized in these workouts to her treatment style. She places a high priority on patient education, enabling clients to take ownership of their recovery and maintain optimal function and fitness levels outside of the clinic.
Carrie Jarrett, LMT has been licensed with The State of Ohio Medical Board for massage therapy since 2003 when she graduated from AIAM – American Institute of Alternative Medicine. She is certified in kinesiology taping and Medical Massage.
Carrie has worked with area healthcare providers treating such issues as: TMJ, sports injuries, car accidents (whiplash), migraines, eating disorders, abuse, scoliosis, certain forms of muscular dystrophy, paraplegics/ quadriplegics, effects of aging, prenatal care/self-help and many more.
In working within the community, she’s a member of Heidi’s Fatigue Fighters who provide care to visiting performers, athletes and entertainers. Being on the road often means very little health care or self-care maintenance. Working with local physical/occupational therapists, reflexologists and chiropractors, helps these client's achieve optimal performance when on the road.
Carrie continues to collaborate with medical professionals in delivering massage therapy to assist in a client's choice of care.
Remy is a certified Occupational Therapist, receiving her masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St Louis and her bachelor of science from Ohio State in Human Development and Family Science. Remy has worked with individuals throughout the lifespan, from early intervention, schools, outpatient and inpatient neurology, and skilled nursing, as well as led groups for caregivers. Remy also currently works as an OT in a school district here in Columbus where she works with children from preschool to middle school, specializing in sensory integration and fine motor skills. She loves working with individuals to develop a trustworthy and meaningful connection, while identifying and building upon each child's unique strengths. Remy is excited to work with each person from a holistic perspective to improve social emotional well-being, as well as utilize skills needed for everyday life.
In building on her foundational knowledge of Mind Body Wellness within OT, Remy is also an experienced certified personal trainer through NASM. While in graduate school for occupational therapy, Remy completed her masters project on the benefits of movement/exercise on neurological diseases, depression, and anxiety. After recognizing the correlation and importance of exercise and movement, her passion for fitness and teaching others grew. She works with individuals of all ages to safely integrate exercise into their lives in a way that is enjoyable and functional for them. Remy feels fortunate to share her passion for fitness with others to be able to work with them to create a specialized program that fits into their lifestyle.
Juli is a Reiki Master Practitioner in the Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage. She began her journey to reiki shortly after she completed her RYT200 yoga instructor training at Yoga on High in 2015. As someone who has long suffered with anxiety and overwhelm, she was so drawn to the detectable calm, clarity and restoration felt after each Reiki session with her mentors and knew that this type of energy healing that she wanted to offer to her students. She finished her Reiki Level 1 and 2 certifications and most recently, her Level 3 (Reiki Master) in 2020.
Reiki, pronounced “Ray- Key” is a Japanese energy healing art, a subtle and intuitive practice that loosens and releases undesired energy, emotional blocks, and pains trapped within us. Julie Jackson is an Occupational Therapist, with a particular focus on the mind, body, and spirit connection. Julie first attended Otterbein University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Fitness, in 2005. It was at this time that Julie realized health is fundamentally about finding a balance of the body as a whole. She went on to receive her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Shawnee State University, in 2013. Julie has experience working with people across the lifespan. In 2020, Julie became a certified TRE (Tension, Stress and Trauma Release) provider. TRE is an innovative series of simple exercises which assist the body in releasing deep patterns of stress , tension and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response. Many people report feeling more connected, grounded and a sense of peace after a session. Julie first became involved with TRE through interest in soothing her own nervous system after many stressful events she began to practice TRE. The practice has brought her towards greater aliveness in life. Julie is eager to introduce TRE and it’s many benefits to a broader audience and community. Additionally, Julie’s passion to achieve balance in life & body led her to Reiki, where she completed her first training in 2010. Julie believes that individuals are intrinsically whole, and that reiki offers a way to shift and balance the body in order to heal and feel wholeness again. She has since gone on to continue her Reiki level trainings, most recently as Spring 2022. Julie also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program in 2018. Through movement of breath, body and awareness, Julie continues to offer clients practices and adjustments. She guides clients on how to customizes poses for their body and add them to a whole-body wellness routine. Her sessions may also include mediation practices and sound therapy.
Megan is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who specializes in complementary solutions to Mind Body Holistic Health.
