PARENT COACHING

Parent Coaching provides services to parents with children needing additional support.  While we believe parents are the best advocate for their child, parent coaching aligns families with additional resources and support systems when challenges arise. We have found, parents are in the greatest need of support during these times.

Parent Coaching assists parent(s) relative to identified challenges of the child. This provides the Parent(s) additional guidance to achieve desired outcomes.   Coaching is based on the child/family abilities to navigate daily demands of self care, school and play.   The Occupational Therapist will coach child/family using practical strategies to manage and support the child’s unique needs successfully. 

Align Health Parent Coaches are experienced within the areas of:

• Behavioral/Academic Challenges
• IEP/504 implementation
• Co-Parent collaboration
• Designing Sensory Areas/Diets

Services Include: A comprehensive consultation with the Parent(s) to guide the child/family through practical strategies of successful self care, school & play. An Align Health Provider will support the Parent(s) through the determination of the child/student's needs through development of applicable services.
